VIRTUAL THERAPY ONLY
Treatment Philosophy
I believe meaningful change begins with feeling genuinely understood. My goal is to create a warm, thoughtful, and nonjudgmental environment where you can slow down, explore your experiences honestly, and develop both practical tools and deeper insight. I help clients better understand the patterns that contribute to emotional distress while developing concrete tools for lasting change. Therapy is collaborative, individualized, and paced according to each client’s goals and readiness. Clients often describe me as calm, compassionate, and easy to talk with while also appreciating my willingness to gently challenge patterns that no longer serve them.
My work is grounded in the belief that many of the struggles we experience today—including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and compulsive behaviors—are shaped by earlier life experiences and relational patterns. Together, we work to understand those deeper roots while also developing practical strategies for navigating present-day challenges. I integrate approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based work, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care based on each client’s unique needs.
In addition to my general psychology practice, I am a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) Candidate under supervision with specialized training in the treatment of compulsive sexual behaviors, problematic pornography use, and betrayal trauma. I work with adults and couples seeking lasting change, and for clients who desire it, I thoughtfully integrate Christian faith into the therapeutic process in a way that is psychologically informed, authentic, and connected to everyday life.
You may be a good fit for my practice if you’re looking for a therapist who balances warmth with thoughtful challenge, values understanding the deeper roots of emotional and relational patterns, and appreciates both practical coping strategies and meaningful personal growth.
