Treatment Philosophy
“Let go of who you think you’re supposed to be; embrace who you are.” -Brene Brown.
As a therapist specializing in food addiction, substance use, mood disorders, and couples’ counseling, I approach therapy with a blend of compassion, empathy, and evidence-based interventions. My therapy modalities are closely aligned with Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral therapies and come from a humanistic and trauma- informed background. My clinical experience has included working with multiple populations including adult patients at a psychiatric hospital, adults and adolescents in a drug treatment court program, and adults, adolescents, couples, and families in outpatient therapy settings. I believe there are multiple paths to wellness and would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey.
