Sometimes, the best kind of support comes from knowing you’re not alone.
Group therapy offers a powerful opportunity to connect with others who are facing similar challenges. Led by one of our experienced therapists, each group provides a safe, structured space to share experiences, learn practical tools, and build community through honest conversation and mutual support.
Request an AppointmentAt PFPA, we offer a variety of group therapy options throughout the year for different age groups and areas of focus. Group sessions often explore themes such as:
- Anxiety and stress management
 - Social skills and peer relationships (for children and teens)
 - Emotional regulation and coping strategies
 - Life transitions, grief, and loss
 - Parenting support
 - Relationship skills and communication

Group therapy can be a powerful addition to individual or family therapy—or a meaningful starting point on its own. Many participants find it deeply encouraging to hear others say, “I’ve felt that way too.”
PFPA does not have any current group offerings, but this is something we are looking into starting soon! If you are interested in groups, please fill out the PFPA Group Therapy Survey to share with us what types of groups you’d be interested in!
