For some individuals, medication can be an important part of mental health treatment—helping to ease symptoms, improve daily functioning, and support emotional balance. At Powers Ferry Psychological Associates, we offer compassionate and personalized medication management as part of our comprehensive care approach.

Our board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner works closely with clients to assess whether medication may be helpful, explain available options, and monitor effectiveness over time. We believe that medication should always be used thoughtfully, in partnership with you, and often in combination with therapy for the best long-term results.

Treatment Philosophy

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), my practice is rooted in a profound love for people and a deep commitment to understanding each individual’s unique experience. I believe that genuine human connection is at the heart of effective mental health care. My greatest joy comes from building meaningful relationships with my patients, listening to their stories, and walking alongside them on their journey to wellness.

I approach mental health care from a holistic and integrative perspective, recognizing that true well-being involves more than just addressing symptoms. It’s about nurturing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. I see mental health as a dynamic interplay of emotional, physical, and social factors.

Ultimately, my treatment philosophy is about embracing the complexity of human experience and fostering an environment where individuals feel seen, heard, and valued. I am dedicated to being a supportive partner in my patients’ journeys, helping them navigate their challenges and celebrate their progress.
