As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I work collaboratively with clients, finding the next best step for them to take to handle challenges and roadblocks in life. I get great satisfaction watching my clients improve their life through short or long-term therapy. I believe a positive therapeutic relationship along with CBT and mindfulness approaches can take a client to higher levels of satisfaction and comfort.
By creating achievable objectives, clients develop effective coping strategies, successfully manage emotions, improve personal relationships and increase feelings of self-worth. I use a variety of techniques within cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness therapies with a focus on examining how thoughts impact feelings and behaviors and developing a multitude of productive replacement behaviors.
