About Me

When life feels overwhelming and it’s hard to manage personal issues, I work with clients in therapy to minimize the distress and overcome obstacles in a safe and nonjudgmental environment. Since it can be scary to reveal vulnerability, I strive to build a trusting therapeutic relationship in which my clients feel comfortable to discuss personal experiences. The therapy sessions are tailored to each client. Treatment can be on a short or long term basis depending on the client’s needs.

I utilize strategies to empower my clients to achieve their goals, reduce symptoms, enhance relationships, and achieve more enjoyment in life. I am skilled in cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, brief solution-focused therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. The goals of treatment can range from helping my clients to understand and change problematic thought patterns and emotions, overcome grief and loss, reduce self- destructive and hostile behavior, conquer depression, enhance problem solving and communication skills, eliminate anxiety, or increase fulfillment.

I provide diagnostic assessments and therapy for kids, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Once my clients provide written consent, I collaborate with treatment providers, schools, or other professionals to ensure comprehensive care is provided for my clients. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings including court settings, private practices, and several university counseling centers.

Currently being supervised by a licensed psychologist.
