Many of us will experience difficult times, troubling thoughts or painful emotions at some point in our lives. I believe therapy should be a nurturing and supportive place to talk about and explore thoughts, feelings, and concerns. If you need help and guidance getting through a tough time in your life, I can provide a place to address your problems and feelings in a safe environment. We’ll also explore healthy ways to manage difficult emotions so you can lead a happier, more productive life.
I also help families who are struggling with a trauma or parent/ child separation (physical and/or emotional) in order to improve their connection with one another. My mission is to help families identify underlying issues that can fuel negative behaviors, while building life-long relationship skills such as open communication and conflict resolution
I’ve worked in a variety of clinical settings including private practice, residential treatment facilities for kids and teens, community mental health centers, and adult psychiatric and forensic inpatient hospitals. Some of my specializations include trauma related disorders, anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, Child Parent Psychotherapy, and working with children in the foster care system
